Making do with found materials is a topic of interest to me. Taking this idea further I created an art series of collectable items, up-cycled from degraded, worn materials due for landfill.

The theme of 'RIVO-STRONG' centres around the beliefs of self-improvement and personal health. Each item is designed to be utilised for exercise and motivational purposes. There should be no worry of further damage for this creates another page in the life journal of each object. The previous 'vacant' state of the discarded objects has been replaced with a new spirit, to live on for another lifetime.
